Uston Advanced Point Count

The author of the book "Million Dollar Blackjack", Ken Uston developed another card counting system called Advance Point Count (APC) Card Counting System in 1981s. It is one of the more complicated methods of card counting. It is in level 3 system. The players should keep large index of points ranging from (-3, -2,-1, 0, +1, +2, +3). This is for professional players and it is not suited for beginners because it is hard to memorize the large index. He himself does not use this personally but there are still players using this kind of system.

The Uston: Advanced Point Count Card Counting System is a balanced system. The count start at zero and the on a new deck of the cards and the last count should also be zero after all cards have been dealt. The advantage is you should do the conversion between running count and true count. You should divide the running count by the number of decks you are playing and the answer is the true count. The playing efficiency is 69% which is the good efficiency in strategy. It is 91% in betting correlation and it does not recognized aces.

Uston: Advanced Point Count Card Counting System is similar to some other cards but has a various point levels of accuracy that makes it good. The player should have accuracy in counting cards, if you are slow in counting; the tendency is that they will let you out of the casino. The more you study and practice, the better you will get. In Plus-Minus count it requires ten hours of practice. Here in Advanced Point Count, the player is required 25 hours of practice to master the counting accuracy. The disadvantage is that this game is for professional only due to its complicated system and time requirement of mastering.
